Cheesy Bacon Dip

Everybody likes bacon, everybody likes cheese so everybody will like this cheesy bacon dip recipe

10 bacon slices
200 ml cream
400 g cheddar shredded
2 tablespoons shallots minced
2 tablespoons chive minced
Salt and pepper to taste


In a frying pan, cook the bacon until really crispy. Pat dry with paper towel and crumble.
In the same frying pan place the minced shallot and sauté for 5 minutes over medium low heat.
Add the cream and the cheese and stir until well blended. Add the chive and cook for about 2 minutes more until thickens.
Stir in the crumbled bacon and season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour the mixture into a dish.
Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
